Finally got enough rain here to green things up a bit.
Afraid I need to sell a few calves. Market's not super, but I really need them gone. First wave anyway.

We're testing bulls/working calves/pregging cows down here at a furious pace. Most guys are planted up except for some of the BTO's that do so much. We've had plenty of rain for now, glad to see some grass.
Always drink upstream from the herd...cowdoc...

Nice area around Sac County. Spent a lot time up there working working on those unsightly wind farms in Sac and Ida counties as well as around Okiboji, Storm Lake and the Walnut areas when I lived in Greene County Iowa. Never had a problem finding anyone to go drink with in Iowa either.
