One thing that has been pretty common the last few days is that Democratic Mayors and Governors have allowed the savages to destroy and steal property without penalty. The agreement that government will protect its citizens has grossly failed. One thing that I have found out overseas, is that humans need, and will find security. This is why ISIS was able to take over so much real estate so quickly. The Sunni populace felt that they could receive protection from ISIS, so they looked the other way on their tactics.

That got me to thinking. With the government failing so miserably in these Democrat cities,... who will the law abiding citizens do to create the security that they need?

The only thing I see is civilian militias. Thoughts?

I don't see it happening, for the most part, in the core metro city areas; wrong make up of people.

Another option is mass migration from cities with large populations of minorities.

If the Antifa's go into the suburbs, I believe neighbors will work in cooperation for their collective security.

That's a citizen militia in the most basic sense.

Yep.

That has been happening for years. It is exactly why Boise went from being a fantastic small town where people left their doors unlocked and keys in their ignitions, to a place where literally a 1/2 million people from places like California, Seattle and Portland all flooded in from and ruined it. It is also why so many people who grew up in the valley left and never returned.

Boise City is now a leftist run city with a Democrat for a Mayor who was born in Boston. She is no friend to conservatives, Idahoans or Idaho values.

Now shootings, and crime are a common occurrence in Boise.

I'm not saddling up to drive 70 miles to Denver or Boulder to protect a bunch of people who brought this on themselves with their voting and political views.

If any of this chit made it's way to Loveland, Co, and especially if we were to ever see this chit in my little cul-de-sac with me and my neighbors, it'd be a whole different story. But that is extremely unlikely.

I am a patriot, but my loyalties lie with my family (1), and like minded individuals (2), if we are talking about domestic thugs.

If the conversation is about foreign invasion, I'd have any American's back.

I'd like to think none of this would happen in my lifetime though. (prepared if it does, however)

Good folks will organize/mobilize quickly if the filth heads outside the city limits.

Most people in KY will be cheering if Louisville gets leveled and turned into a parking lot. I can't see any militias forming for it.

Lexington, though, might get some help if Rupp Arena or the Sam's Club is threatened...

A lot of militias exist but not in democrat run cities.

And they’ll prosecute those defending their homes while the Antifa's will go untouched.

That would depend on locale. Michigan, with your governor, most certainly. I wouldn't want to look at a rioter cross eyed in Minnesota.

The downside of this sort of thinking is the 'burbs are where the libs, dims, progressive, socialists are living. For the most part, these people think the rioters and looters are righting wrongs. These are the people who want to remove the Second Amendment, collect all of the firearms at whatever cost in lives it takes.

Not going to happen in Michigan regardless of what the b!tch half-whit thinks.

Expect military rule soon, followed by dictatorship. Paul Harvey called it long ago.

The riots will burn themselves out, half of em ain’t even Black. Those on public assistance will exhaust their limited resources and collapse under the same level of disfunctionalism that got em where they are in the first place.

I do believe President Trump is missing a critical opportunity, even given a hostile MSM. He oughtta be out there in front of the cameras mouthing the appropriate platitudes ie “I understand the rage (even tho we know “rage” has little to do with it) gotta take action against the looting”.

I believe he is leading, but with a critical election coming up he’s gotta LOOK like he is. Heck if I were him my first stop would be Minneapolis, right now.

Trump is making a calculated move.


This might have secured him re-election.

All good points, but he isn't that bright nor that interested. Besides, he has this election in his pocket, no matter what happens with the vote.

And my second stop would be a well-prepared television address to the nation.
