Spent yesterday from 8 am to 9 pm in the cab of the CLAAS working on first-crop hay. Best guess is we got through about 300+ acres.. Supposed to start again this am at 9 - but it's raining lightly here now so it may be postponed for a couple hours.. I'm waiting for the call..

With all the unrest up here, I stayed pretty close to the home front yesterday. Don't really wish I felt the need to wear a sidearm at home, but it is what it is. We should be safe, I hope. We're two hours from the Twin Cities.

I will throw the dice and still go outside today, just keep an eye out for extraterrestrial objects entering the atmosphere.
14yr old dog kept me up all night moving all around getting up and staring at the wall.
He has doggy dementia.
Kinda like Joe Biden, but not nearly half as bad.

Getting ready to head to the CO-OP. Grab some salt, mineral, and try to find out if they are bringing the no-till rental today. If they aren't I guess I'll trailer the bulls to the cows and go work in the hayfield for the preacher.

Six more hours of driving today and I'll be home from a week long road trip to Omaha to get a new female GWP. puppy.

I could wish a lot of things on my worst enemy but neuropathy ain't one of them.

Absolutely poured here from about 2 pm yesterday into late evening, very windy today but at least the sun is out. A few more clean up chores to do in the garage on hunting equipment from last fall to get done (decoy repairs). With the rain yesterday I started going thorugh old pictures and editing some that I had not gotten to yet. Dog kept us up all night sick, so feely pretty *edgy at the moment. Honestly, things aren't bad at all for us, if you ignore all the gloom doom and anger spewed about here. The more of it I read the less I want to show up each day.

Back from golf. Today, I had everything mastered except distance and direction. LOL! Final score was between average and bean dip.
A while back, I decided I'd play around with some of the many different Linux operating systems and I didn't want to use either this main desktop or my backup one in the closet. A laptop would be much handier, thought I. So I bought an old clunker on eBay and it arrived today. Unpacked and charging but haven't even turned it on yet. I think this will be fun.
