They don’t have hands, so that’s how they check things out. Been in the water with many of them, and a lot of other sharks. No reason to kill them, unless you’re taking one to eat (like a mako). No worries.

I don't like shark for food........ Any I catch gets released.....they are fun to catch.

If I were you Jag, I would not worry about sharks too much. The commercial ocean rapers are taking care of them......along with everything else.

Saltwater fishing used to be good down here then every single Yankee in Ohio moved to the lowcountry of South Carolina, coastal Georgia, etc......they all got a boat and they all fish. Its a joke compared to what it was when I was a boy. It ain't the shark's fault. I still like to go once in a while to get out but I don't expect to fill a freezer with fish. Might get enough for one meal on a good day.

Sharks are pretty low on my priority list today.
