Makes no sense for a berry to be poisonous, since the plants that produce edible berries have the survival advantage of having their seeds spread further and faster. Oh well, their loss.

Night shade is supposed to be safe to eat if ripe but poisonous if unripe. Not worth the trouble.

If you assume that they’re poisonous, they can’t hurt you. An animal eating it with no problems doesn’t mean a human can do it too.

Just spent 4 grand on vet bills on a dog for eating that chit twice. no more in our yard and used ground clear to get the roots, even the leaves and roots are poison.

Me and my mother used to pull it up from around the horse corral. In case the dumbshît horses tried to eat it.

That and Jimsonweed.
