Figuratively, for those that experienced the real one.
Meaning, the Left/Dems/Globalists have been consistently beaten by Trump and his agenda for almost 4 years. They have been totally ineffective in damaging him, like the VC/NVA in Nam. Is this latest protest thing their new Tet Offensive, designed to win the battle not on the ground, but in the media?
Communists and globalist in London and Paris are joining the protest. We've got utter and open contempt for LEOs (see the taco thread for more proof).
The goal of the communist/anarchists is to make the country completely dysfunctional and ungovernable. Dem authorities in several states are aiding and abetting this movement. Their ultimate end game now is to make voters so uneasy that they will run to the polls and vote for guy that says he will end the violence and have everybody holding hands and singing Ku ba ya together come November.
After all, this is the communist way. Make the a country ungovernable, then step in as knights in shining armor to 'save" everybody. That was the goal in 1917 Russia, 1946 China, 1956 Hungary, 1959 Cuba, etc. and in succeeded in all of those instances.
The obvious goal now is that street violence, insurrection, Democrat political passivity and organized chaos and civil disobedience are the keys to ridding the country/world of Trump. Is it planned and understood the Left will lose this in the streets only to gain victory in the press? Uncle Ho would be proud. Rush said today to expect relentless attacks from the Dems and Fake Media from now to election day. He said it will get worse and worse.

Rush said today to expect relentless attacks from the Dems and Fake Media from now to election day. He said it will get worse and worse. That's a fact. It's escalating daily. Good thing Trump is a strong man, and lets the lies run off like water off a duck's back. Trump still has his base of voters. I think by election day, people will be so sick of the lies, they will turn on the democrats and media like never seen before.

My guess is we will see voter fraud on a scale unlike anything before in history. Including Zimbabwe.

I think by election day, people will be so sick of the lies, they will turn on the democrats and media like never seen before. I agree with both of those statements. I also know that Trump is a New Yorker and has spent his entire career in the world of high finance where negotiations are nasty and there is backstabbing and intrigue the likes of Hollywood can't imagine. This stuff is just another day at the office for Trump. How many times has his financial empire been attacked? How many bankruptcies and recoveries? He's the only guy I know that can skate through it and never lose a night's sleep. He's trained and experienced in this sort of stuff.

Quite agree that the big name rat bastards are coming out of the woodwork now that Trump is facing a couple of big challenges at once. I have always suspected Mattis to be a creature of the swamp (Trump was right on Syria).
I see George Will dumped a bag of 75 cent words on Trump that only amounted to a gobbledy-guk ad hominem slur from an arrogant snob, but the left loved it.
They think the Bear is mortally wounded BWAhahahahahah A pox on them all.

markets went up. : ) Wall Street believes Trump can and will see the economy through this period. Surprising considering the total shutdown and the obliteration of airline and energy stocks. WS sees pent up demand for goods and serves, and a climate whereby manufacturing can leave China, trading cheap labor an uncertain government policies for cheap American energy and a far shorter supply chain. They see Americans will now understand why globalization of the supply chain isn't always so good.

I think this will end more like ‘68 and the Democrats in chaos and Trump re-elected in a landslide. Hoping this will turn purple states red in Congress. I was kinda thinking the same thing.

We need President Trump to be reelected. The democrats are concentrating on keeping the house and wining the senate. With both senate and house they will not care who is president. Besides they can impeach with control in both houses. The democrat anti-American/socialist/communist policies, rules, regulations, and taxes will destroy America forever if we do not vote the democrats out of power in the 2020 election.

I suspect the Deep State and the Democrats in the coming weeks will switch from domestic attacks, (Kung-Flu, civil unrest, destroying the US Economy), to international attacks in order to seperate President Trump from his base.
Look for Iran or similar to increase attacks trying to goat President Trump into WWIII.
Give a man a fish and he eats for a day. Give a man a welfare check, a forty ounce malt liquor, a crack pipe, an Obama phone, free health insurance. and some Air Jordan's and he votes Democrat for a lifetime.
