Since all this kicked off I’ve seen dozens of photos of police from all over the world in exactly the same position: a knee on the neck of an arrestee.
It’s almost like they’ve all been trained in the best way yet devised to control a resisting subject, and they are performing it thousands of times a day every day everywhere and it works out for the best for all involved 99.999% of the time.
This. Cop did nothing wrong, and will be railroaded for political reasons, so as not to inflame black mobs.
I have never personally experienced a person with excited delirium. Nearly everything I have read about it uses this kind of language "extreme agitation and aggression." Mr Floyd, while he did resist, didn't resist with force. He was non-violent. I can vaguely remember training on excited delirium. I did a little refresher. It doesn't seem Floyd really had any of the symptoms other than showing some level of impairment.
That none of the officers showed any concern when a pulse couldn't be found on Mr. Floyd is pretty sickening to me.
Damn, back in the bike lane for you. Watch a couple min of video and you're an expert witness.
It's about the optics of the video, which shape public opinion and allow the narrative... Whether the facts bear out wrongdoing or not, have zero to do with how it looked.
I think the delirium encountered is when the criminal being apprehended is on ketamine aka angel dust.
We use it it the Equine and if the animal is not pre sedated with alpha two androgenists prior to ketamine administration it can get awful western.
However:
I do agree with Paul B.
The video of the dispatch of Mr. Floyd is not something I hope is the SOP of any law enforcement agency.
Just my opinion.
Are you aware that the cops had already attempted to place him in the back seat of the squad car, but failed due to wild and vigorous resistance on his part, and that the knee to the neck was only a last resort to hold him captive till the EMS guys could get there and, perhaps, reverse the effects of whatever drug he had in him?
Yes I saw the video of the time they had him in the vehicle.
I have not watched all the video footage during the kneeling. But I have listened to Mr Floyds last words I believe.
The camera footage of the officers will be perhaps the best way to ascertain if they were correct and followed proper procedure. I have not seen that footage.

The powers that be have decided to sacrifice 4 officers to BLM. But now they see it didn’t stop the riots. I predict the 4 cops will get a big payday when they are acquitted. Hasbeen

Another example of dirty cowardly cops. Too bad 700 H and Johnn werent t there to document the murder or just gently arrest the poor gentleman themselves
go back to your buddies wife it suits you better you sick fug
The Tzar had the right idea... Note the "dropped" revolver at around 1:30..

There are some rogue cops out there..They need to be eliminated..Right here in rural Idaho two numb nuts gunned down a rancher they called via dispatch to put his bull down that had bean peppered by a dumb chit cop...He came to the scene with a rifle to dispatch his bull, then words were thrown around because of the incompetent cops and he took 20 rounds to his body..And they called him to come kill his injured bull..All I can say it was WRONG and they should have payed the price and did not..
Man,I can tell you once someone puts a badge on your chest..People change..I have seen it all my life...McCall Idaho needed the police reserves for the 4th..Locals mostly but once the badge was on the chest, different person all together..Tough guys then..It changes a person..Seen it upteen times..
