Who’s using the Shield Arms S15 - GLOCK® 43X/48 15 ROUND MAG in their Glock 43X or Glock 48?

https://shieldarms.com/glock-43x-48-15-round-mag

How’s that working out?

I’m using them in my 43x and love them. The two that I have have functioned flawlessly. 16 rounds in the palm of your hand is kind of neat 😎

Thanks.

A local guy turned me in to the concept. Seems a lot like a thin G19.

Anybody else?

Just curious: Do you use an aluminum magazine release as recommended? If not, do you notice any wear on your factory polymer one from the use of the metal mag?

Interested as well. Usually carrying a G19 of some sort in a Tier 1 concealed appendix AGIS but sometimes run an Axis Slim with a G26.

Still torn between the 43x and the 48 just cause for me the longer barrels are better for appendix with a slight gut.

I ordered the aluminum mag catch when I bought the magazines.

I've got about 350 or so rounds through my 43x using Shield Arms magazines. No hiccups or bobbles so far. I did change out to a metal mag catch. I had friends who had trouble keeping magazines in their Smith and Wesson M&P pistols (The 1.0 version) when our F&W issued them some years back. Turned out the plastic mag catches were wearing out.

So far, so good. I'd been carrying a G45 most every day since that gun came on the market, but a 16 round G43 has become awfully comfortable.

I bought a G43x new, and when a used G48 comes through the shop, I will buy it too. Really beginning to like those little pistols.

So, do you already have the 43X? I got one a soon as they came out in all black. I was super excited about the concept, but unfortunately it turned out to be the only Glock that tore up the web of my hand in recoil. I'm speaking of slide bite. If you haven't already, try the gun out (assuming you don't already own and like it) before you invest in those mags. I sold my 43X after the second range trip getting slide bite.

Should take delivery this week.

One of the advantages of the Glock blue label program is that guns seem to be in stock when the regular stock is unavailable.

43X in a RM Lowrider kicked my 26 out of rotation.
I wear an XXL golf glove. No problems when giving the 43X a workout.
I bought a blue label with AMERIGLO NS. Stock magazines only.
It is one bad dog pistola.

I am hoping for a 48 style model in .40S&W/.357 SIG. That would make me very happy.

I have 3 mags and an aluminum mag catch. I've never fired s round through a factory mag. No issues ever.

I'm running ameriglo Hackethorn sights for a 19 and they're AWESOME.

Have three of the mags and aluminum catch. Bought it as a package from Shield. Flawless so far, but only about 100 rounds through them.

I'm around 1200 through mine and zero failures that were not my fault.....I missed a primer and had a case too bulged to chamber as my only issues so far.
