I've been going since I was a kid, it was the last free admission fair in California and I live just down the road from the fairgrounds and could walk to it avoiding the ridiculous parking fees. Haven't been to the local fair in a few years. Smack dab in the middle of archery deer season, and the tacos aren't that good anyway and they dropped the rodeo. Instead we get light truck destruction derbys and 8 dollar cups of warm Coors. According to my calculations slumlord is 120 years old.
