I can live without a quantity of brass for now, although I'd buy a batch if I could easily find it. I need at least one piece, fired or unfired and would buy more if one of you guys could direct me. I'd hate to have to go buy a box of factory ammo as that's against my religion. Need to make a dummy round for reamer throat length...... Thanks folks!

MUCH appreciated. I should’ve posted that I found one supplier through the Ammoseek search engine. I envy the neck of the woods you live in. Good hunting.

What many dont realize is that the 6.5x300 Wby came about as a result of a bullet being introduced to this country by Norma in about 1950. It was a 139 gr match bullet, and the first reamer was created by a man by name of Wright, who was a long range target shooter from NM. He made a deal with a Pa gunsmith by name of Alex Hoyer who used it to build long range hunting guns. It was for quite awhile the most popular LR hunting gun on the planet untill the early 70s. There would still be some reamers gathering dust in Pa, and id probably know where a few might be.
For sure there are some of those old Norma bullets gathering dust also.

I’m sorry I wasn’t clear. I’m good but your gesture is very much appreciated. Careful tho, next I’ll be asking you to help me find elk in your neck of the woods....

I’ve got two Factory boxes of 127LRX. How does $110 shipped for both sound?

I've always thought this would be a great long range caliber. But then I discovered it is more fun to sneak up on my quarry and shoot it where you can almost count the hairs in his eye lashes. Be Well, Rustyzipper.

I bought one of those fire breathers last year. Haven’t hunted it yet though. We got 11 rounds down the pipe is all. This year I plan to buy an out of state tag in Montana and paste a deer.

I appreciate it. Found my brass and I'm now set - though you are just down the road...
