Good shot! They seem to have the ability to look through ones eyes to the back of ones head. Did some ground squirrel shooting today cleaning out about a 3 acre parcel. A very heavily stocked field with ammo being my limiting factor. Went in to visit the landowner and as I passed the parcel on the way out, there were 4 bald eagles, about 2 dozen ravens, and 5 hawks working the carcasses.

Will do another run tomorrow and Cookie might come later and put her pop up somewhere in the killing fields.

Sounds like a target rich environment for both shooters!

Great photo, don't think I've seen a better one of a Bald Eagle.

I'm sure the raptors know that the sound of shooting is like a dinner bell! We have a growing population of bald eagles here in New Jersey. I see them in my town once in a while. They are pretty common in lower NY State where I used to have a bird club. The farmer left a dead calf in a field, and eagles came around for a feed.
