For those here who are in line for a knife out of this heat. The blades are complete and ready for guards (if required) then handles and then sheaths.
I think we have everyone's scale material figured out.

WOW. Son and I drew tags for mulies in WY.
Now what knife (knives) do I take along and what gun (s) also??????
I am thinking a unguarded drop point hunter and maybe a small bnt type and a 5" skinner, all M4 of course.
And a 257 Bob with 100gr NPs or 6.5x284 with 125 gr NPs, or........

I promise the BnT in M4 will handle anything you throw at it. That little blade is amazing.
Drop the NP's and try the TTSX.

I stand by the partitions, but not the monos.
I made a small knife with blade not unlike the bnt, but with a guard and stag handle. That has a good chance of going hunting with me.

Seems like an awesome opportunity for a knife maker to test drive ALL his work in the field. Bring them all! If you want to borrow any of the ones you have sent to me I'll send them back to you for your trip. Hope you and your son both get good bucks!

So, one cut per blade. I have about a hundred knives laying around here to pick from, so thanks for the offer, but you will have to field test them for yourself.

Just setting around pondering next move. Got some time on hand due to being mostly caught up and recovering from some out patient surgery. Had a couple kinks, a polyp and two other things taken out of my nose. Sore as hell last night and today, but getting better. Now gotta get in shape for WY hunt.
I do have some finished blades setting around in CPM 154 and in CPM M4, so probably should focus on moving them along.
But, I have been considering doing run of CPM S35 VN, Probably a couple blade patterns and maybe thinner in such things as a boner, bnt, small drop point, etc. Also a couple of Loveless patterns thrown in.
But, nothing for sure right now. Just learning how to breath again. Ready for some fall weather. Tim

They are the 5" Skinners that I made. Of the 2 blades there, one is .125" thick and the other .100" thick. I think I did about 8 of those so far.
The "Nessmuk" looking knife was a copy of a Loveless someone showed here where the blade had the bull nose on it. I only did two of those, one I kept. I may do a couple more if I buy some S35VN. Did mine with aged elk and plan on field testing her this fall. Tim

So, I can message close up pics and info on any of the blades shown above. I may have a finished knife or pic on hand also. Be a good time to work on hunting season and holiday lists.
