IME, it's worth the money to go with the Dillon digital scale compared to the cheaper units from other brands. I've had my Dillon "D-Terminator" scale since ~2003 and still going strong, but have loaded with cheaper digital scales from RCBS, Pact, and Hornady that ranged from "sometimes accurate" to outright junk.

I’ve used my Lyman digital for twenty years, never fails to give accurate readings (compared to a three-beam RCBS). I’m sure the Dillon is a fine scale too....

I use a Frankford Arsenal digital scale. When I got into reloading I ordered a Lee starter kit setup. When I unpacked it and saw the junky looking scale that came with it, I bought the Frankford Arsenal one immediately. I still have the Lee beam scale, but have never used it. The Frankford seems to work fine for me. I weigh every load, not just one every now and then. There may be better deals out there, this is just my experience.

I use an MTM 750 grain - AAA batteries. And a Lyman checkweight set. I gave up on the balance beam scale a decade ago.

I've got a couple of digital scales, a Pact and another whose brand I don't remember. The latter with lots of bells and whistles. High end. No longer made. Too many alternatives for me. Both worked well but the 20+ year old Pact has never failed. I sometimes use it with dispenser. Also have an RCBS mechanical. The Pact has been my 'go to' scale for many years. I check it periodically with a Lyman check weight, and it has never been off. Not sure what I'd do if my Pact failed, except go shopping.
