They are a reminder of those who went before and a warning to those who come after.

Obliterate that at your peril.

Perhaps. I know I'm getting to be full of rue for my ancestors having fought it. I'll bet if they were alive today they would think it was in vain.

But it's not statues we should be getting rid of.

I'm in total agreement with your statement. no disrespect intended to those who fought and died on either side.

Do you admire Bobby? Does his opinion make it right to destroy history and property? Odd how they don't attack Planned Parenthood - founded by racists. No, they embrace that organization.

"not to keep open the sores of war" ???

WTF??

What next, tear down the "Vietnam" Wall? Tomb of the Unknown Soldier?

I'm about ready to give up.

Do all millennials get an embedded estrogen drip device implanted at the hospital after birth?

Progressives are the most open minded, tolerant, and inclusive people on the planet, as long as you agree with everything they say, and do exactly as you're told.

Not to you Valsdad, to the scum.

I would highly recommend attacking The Wall.
Announce a date, recruit the "protesters".
Just ignore those old men hanging around there,
They are a bunch of old fools.
They couldn't hurt a flea.
Go ahead, spary paint it.
Dare ya!

Some of those old boys were hanging around the monuments in
our town square when the F'tards were protesting. All went well,
Good thing. Those guys are too old to fight anymore.
They would just shoot!

I don't think the author was a millennial.

Let's see, I can leave the Blockhouse Ranch house built in the 1800s and go down and fish on the San Saba for catfish or bass today or I can hate statues.

Like in "enlightened" France, every little town has the names of their sons lost in battle engraved upon the walls of the local church from the Franco-Prufssian War, WW I, WW II, Algeria and Indochina. Then Paris has that Arc de Triomphe thing that has 20 lanes of traffic circulate around it. Oh, and Les Invilides that honors Napolean, and along with him enternally rest Marshall Foch (WWI Supreme Allied Cmdr), Philippe Leclerc de Hauteclocque (WWII) as well as the remains of some 40+ of their war heros.

Who in the hell wrote that drivel you quoted? Which countries is he talking about? Name them! Give me a list, you idiot. UK? Antifa just needs to try to take Nelson out of Trafalger Square. Germany has restored historical sites and references in their country that were banned during post WW II Occupation denazification.

Russia/USSR has thousands of monuments to their war heroes. China has monuments to Revolutionary leaders as does Cuba.

You know who eradicates history/ The Taliban and ISIS!

Sycanmore - is that a Paddler quote because that is one of the most absurd statements posted here ever, and that says a lot?

The problem my fellow men is that these miscreants have to much time and to little to do.
They also don't seem to know a whit about " mending fences"...

There is a job to be done. One that presidents have been calling for for ages...

So let's form these miscreants into some work gangs and send them to Build the Wall!
