It’s cordura with a 4 way stretch interior it’s not sealed weather tight. In addition to a lot of other trips with it- I hunted last year in wyoming1st week of oct last year I hunted through October in Idaho and I hunted the 1st week of rifle in Montana- plenty of weather events during that time as I’m sure most of y’all remember. Anyway- this isn’t goretex. It’s not guaranteed to keep them dry.

Copy that. Just curious as I didn't see mention of that in the description. Thanks....

Just ordered one in coyote, I have the Alaska guide and really like it, carrying my Kahr 45 in the rig will be great.

Got home from a week in the mountains and the rig had arrived. I really like it, my Kahr and 10s fit nicely. I also plan to use it fishing on my kayak, the gun hidden and the pouch for fishing stuff... super handy. I can even snap it on my Nice frame, buckles are the same. I always wear a bino harness with my pack and a handgun in a holster on my belt, sometimes the pack belt and gun are in each other's way, this puts the gun right in front and easy access.

Also I can attach it to my Nice frame, just needed another male buckle, which I have, I made meat harnesses and attachments so have extra buckles.

Kent, are the bins loose or is there a way to take bins from pouch to face while strapped or buckled similar to say the Kuiu harness?

Binos are loose with the flap up, unsecured, but just like the Alaska guide I have, I keep the bino strap on and put them over my neck as if there wasn't a pouch, the strap is loose and it doesn't pull on my neck. I can drop the binos on my chest if in a hurry, or if somehow I jolted them out they would stay with me. It's just what I've always done. Normally I look through the glass then drop them in the pouch, fold the flap over if it's raining or fogging, up and down, up and down... it's become natural... seldom does the strap on the binos come into play, but like a loose seatbelt, just in case I miss my aim.

Hey Greg the interior of the RAP bino pouch has 2 loops so you can affix whatever you want to use for binocular retention to those. I use 550 cord with mitten hooks so I can get them
Free from the pouch to put on a tripod and I hunt a lot with the case open so I can glass as I go- and I’ve missed the bucket before when I dropped them. I can’t post pictures anymore as the gallery requires images that are too small. PM me I can give you my number and send you pictures of the provisions we’ve made to allow for you to run binocular retention straps.
