Has anybody ordered a McMillan McWoody... that did not end up looking like wood?

Thinking about color and pattern.

Since patterns and colors are usually totally random with McMillan.

I have even seen two "identical" stocks ordered at the same time have different patterns (directions) in it even thought they where supposed to look (nearly) identical.

I have 2 of them. From over 10' they look like wood. Up close, aint no way. Dont really care, looks enough like wood but dont have to worry about dinging or scratching it like I would a real wood stock.

You won't see two alike.

I have three, all different.

Creed with std. fill Mtn. Rifle McWoody.

The third is a MkV SS Shilen 7RM in a McWoody Wby Express. My pictures aren't so good. May have to redo.
