Nice Hobie, Paul. I've only had my Pro Angler 14 out a couple of times this year so far. I love it, but it's getting just too damn hard for me to get its 120-lb hull atop my Toyota Highlander twice every trip. So...after seven or eight years as a yakker, I've ordered a Tracker Classic XL bass boat for delivery next Spring.

I'll be selling the Hobie then to somebody local.

The Compass is comparatively light for a pedal boat. It's a handful, but manageable with my bad joints. The hands free fishing can't be beat! Around here used Hobies command a premium.

A elderly relative had a similar issue so he bought a small trailer to haul it in.
