Nice work!
The trickiest part for me is always that little detent and spring for the front takedown pin. Getting that little bugger in place without launching it into orbit takes focus.....grin Buddy showed me the clevis pin trick, which makes that a piece of cake... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XJNaTjvQaVQNow, if you've got a trick for pinning that #$%& gas block/tube, I'm all ears. For the gas block roll pin, I hold the pin with needle-nose pliers, then tap it in.

After some time with the "pistols" I would love to have a stamp and a proper stock. Eventually I will head that direction. But, for now, I just threw my net worth at ammo components! Damn, got to be slim pickings quick! Appreciate the good folk's input and discussion here. For the naysayers, just wait till I try to put an upper together you mofos! Built one into a 16" mid-length, one into a 12.7 carbine length pistol, and not sure on the 3rd yet. They got some bad reviews but all mine have been in spec and fit all my lowers fine. Paired with a pinned front sight gas block barrel they make for a tough set up. Here is my 12.7". Octane 45 to be set free at last. Two years ago Silencerco had a BOGO deal. After a long backorder delay, dealer change and much extra delay on my end finally getting in to do the paperwork last December. So, 7 months, non-trust. The Omega 300 took 12 months. Couple of 300 BO projects for the Octane. Yahoo. That upper seems like it would be awesome. Thanks for the tip. Took ~ 2 years to get one of my Silencerco .30 cal cans during O'Zero's crap. This was with a trust.
