By that camera it would be Reds and maybe some Chum right now, later there will also be Silvers.
Pinks could be in the mix as well but like the Chum and Silvers, most will come later.
Kings are also running right now but they don't run up that river.

the water level at the falls is significantly lower than recent years...it use to be above their shoulders, and they had to dive and reach to grab them

If you are interested in more detailed information about the 2020 salmon run you can register to get updates mailed and text to you
Then you'd know how many of each species ran up what rivers on what days and how old the were and how much they weighed.

(For "Activity" select commercial)(For "Managment Area" select Bristol Bay )

And the best information, The Port Moller Report, can be obtained by.......

Emailing Michael Link at michaelbbsri.org and asking to be added to the daily Port Moller Reports

OR

How to Sign Up – Just text number below

TEXT the letters "PMTF" from your cellular, Inreach, or Satellite device to 833-612-1053
(not the quote marks and pmtf is NOT case sensitive)

These messages will not contain as much information as the Daily Catch Updates or the full page stock comp estimates that go out via email. The texting service is being done to help all those in the fleet and elsewhere who cannot easily download the email and catch table. Anyone can sign up, even if you are also on the email distribution list. The texts will go out within minutes of the emailed updates.

Thanks guys for passing on your knowledge. My son and I had a fishing trip to Sitka set up before the Covid hit. Rescheduled for next year now.

Thanks. Be Well, Rustyzipper.

Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy. Its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery. Winston Churchill.
