How many of you own hardcover classic books by Elmer Keith? Look at the prices online today. I was shocked!

I have 'Sixguns', and 2 copies of 'Hell I Was There!' I wonder what they'll be worth in 20 years when the country is communist?

They won't be worth any cash value.
As insurgent literature they'll be good
for making sure you sit in a cell for years.
If you happen to have a copy of Turner
Diaries that'll get you a trip to the gallows.
As will all those arms and ammo caches
that get written about.
That friend you showed your AR's and big
stack of magazines to told his buddy at
work who told his uncle who is a druggie
and paid informant

I have a few around somewhere. Haven't looked at prices online. Maybe I should have kept all the outdoor books I gave away over the years. Too late now.

Used book prices can be really strange. Some very useful books (but not popular) can be pretty cheap but something popular and out of print can be sky high. Especially signed first editions.

Many books are valued as to author rather than as to content.

I just found Keith's Rifles and Cartridges for Big Game downstairs. It's an original from 1936. Anyone interested?

Thanks for the info. I was busy yesterday and didn't check. My book looks like listing #2.

#2 would be a perfect read if one had to accompany the mother in law to church.
Covert - would blend right in with a pew bible smile
