I have a bunch of once fired brass for the Swede and some 129gr Interlocks, so I’m curious if this powder could be a good fit?

I see manuals list recipes for IMR 4350 in 6.5x55, so I suspect it’s at least an okay choice.

Any other cartridges where IMR 4350 shines? I could easily be persuaded to buy a new rifle so this powder doesn’t go to waste.

I've used it in the 6.5 Swede. It worked fine, but I didn't work with that rifle much before getting rid of it. IMR4350 is my favorite .30-'06/150 gr. powder.

So what you’re saying is I need a .30-06? wink

I use it in my 243s, 7mm-08s, 7x57, and 30-06s loads.

My powder of choice in my 7X57 and 250 Ackley Improved.

Have also tried IMR 4350 in .270 Win, .280 Rem, 6.5X55, 7mm08.

FWIW, it didn't give me optimal accuracy in either of my Swede's (one Sako and one Winchester). And, I found powders that, in my rifles, equaled or excelled it in the other cartridges.

Still, a versatile powder, and worth a try in your Swede for sure.

Just kidding.....IMR-4350 is a fantastic powder for all off the mentioned above!

No, no, ship it to me.

I use it in 7 mags, 06’s, 270, 270 short mag, plus more.

It would be hard to find a cartridge between 22-250 and 375 H&H where there would not be an application for 4350 powder. It was the first can of rifle powder I bought in the 1960's for my whack a mole Lee Loader and the 243 Win.

30-06, 300wm, 338wm, 6.5x55, I've even had good success using it in the 270w

Any decent 270 will very likely shoot a 130 on top of about 55 grains of IMR 4350 quite well.
