3 and a half months off. There isn't really much to do, except go light for 3 weeks, and be thorough. I was on track for a 65+ 181 world bench record, and in truth, could probably still best it, but not in a way I would like. Treating this as an opportunity to address weakness, is the silver lining. Being ancient, I have to minimize damage. With that in mind, I will keep weight on the light side, and add a few exercises to bring weak links up to par. I imagine there are more than a few of you that are dealing with the same sort of issue. Re-establish the discipline, and the workout program. Give yourself whatever time is necessary to get back up to speed, without destroying yourself.

Since we haven’t been able to go to the gym we began mountain bike riding. Since 4/5/20 I have ridden just over 315 miles of mixed road and trails. Let’s are getting bulked. At 54 my cardio is maybe better than it has ever been. Can’t wait to get back to the gym and add power lifting back to the routine.

I’ve been a kettlebell cultist for many years, so it hasn’t really interrupted my routine: a few bells, and clubs, my TRX, a bar to pull myself up on, and a patch of floor are all I really need. I do a couple barbell cycles per year, and like using a reverse hyper, but I can modify, or live without, or perhaps it’ll just spur me to buy my own gear.

I’ve been drinking a lot of Bud Light I've heard of this "light" beer...I've been keeping Guinness in business. Still lost 6 pounds.

Every other day walking clambering 2hrs over steep terrain with dogs (they've been liking the heck out of the lockdown ), two-three times a weeks 40 miles on bike. Been neglecting lifting, even tho the gyms are open looking after a bunch of puppies in the house ain't a time to be on lockdown. I have some barbells I need to start using.

I am working on cardio and muscular endurance. 3 days/week in the mountains w/ a pack, 5-7 miles and 900-1200 feet of elevation gain. 3 days a week at home. Treadmill and elliptical for 45 minutes and 30 minutes of kettlebells and dumbells. Lots of core work and some intervals on the heavy bag. Battling antiquity is a full time job.
