Nice buck. Who did you have do your barrel work and what contour did you choose?

Thanks guys. It's a #3 Douglas contour, 1/12 twist. Mickey Coleman did the barrel work many years back.

Rusty glad to make your aquantaince I too am a 35 bore whore. I started with a 35 Whelan rem auto, then 358 win BLR, then a 9x 56 MS 1905 and last but not least a Marlin 336 in 35 rem.I like big holes in and out and copious short blood trails. I can honestly say I have ever had to hit anything twice with a 35. I make no Apologies and don't want it to catch on as 35 guns are hard enough to find now.Still looking for that savage 99 in 358. Oh I forgot to mention my CD 550 VS in 9.3x 62. I like magnificent stocks almost as much as I like 35's.

I had mine put-up on a Ruger Mark ll action. The barrel is a Shilen 1 in 14 twist, and it shoots 225 gr. Sierra Gamekings over Varget in small cloverleaf groups.

I keep my circle small, I’d rather have 4 quarters than 100 pennies.
