On a lighter note.

The wife and I took to growing hardy kiwis a few years ago.

Unlike the kiwis that most people are familiar with, the Hardy kiwi is a furless fruit that you pop in your mouth like a big grape. The flavor is exactly like a Jolly Rancher sour apple candy.

They're fantastic if you dehydrate them. Preserves are also quite good. I tried making hard cider with them last year and it was an epic failure. I will try again.

Not at a computer and a link is the best I can manage from my phone.

FYI, they grow faster than Kudzu... simply unbelievable at how prolific they are.

I put in a vine several years ago but it won't grow. Each winter the vines die off and it comes back from the crown. It's never got more than 2' high. In the last 2 winters, it's never got below 10F here and they're supposed to be able to handle that. We're in zone 6. I have the self pollinating version.

We are in 7b... these things grow like crazy here... like don't stand still or they get you.
