Pulled the cover of of a utility (read: non luxury) 4x4 based off of the now discontinued Defender 110.
Though unable to secure the original tooling, British Adventurer and majority sharmeholder Sir James Ratcliffe pushed the company to fill the abandoned niche....

Box-section ladder frame, solid axle, progressive coil 4-link suspension.

We set out to design a modern, functional and highly capable 4x4 vehicle with utility at its core”, said Toby Ecuyer, Head of Design. “A design that is ‘easy-to-read’, with no ambiguity about the Grenadier’s role in life. There to do everything you need, and nothing you don’t. Nothing is for show. Modern engineering and production techniques ensure the Grenadier is highly capable, but we have been able to stay true to the essence of creating a utilitarian vehicle that will stand the test of time”.

Are they going all out and including the Lucas electrics and lots of oil leaks?

They made a point that there are no electronics on suspension...
That was the Swedish? ( Swiss?) Suspension guy from Magnus though.

They have not yet released interior or engine info.. but its not a strictly UK exercise.

I guess "based off the Defender" should have been inspired by.....since the are engineering the thing from the ground up...
