Now I look at an election like I would a litter of new pups. I no longer look for which pup would make the best retriever but which one of the bastids is least likely to piss on my leg.

Thanks for reminding me to go and check my status. I filed 14 Jan, and it still says undeterminted. I fully do not expect to get it since I was out of country working last year, and missed the cut-off by like 9 days. When I filed in 2019 as I was out of state for 5 of the months working, I called and the guy told me to still file in 2020, but he was 99% I'd get denied. He told me if I didn't file for PFD, it could mess with my residency and property taxes, even though I never claimed anywhere else, maintained an AK DL, and paid property taxes here and my wife and kids still lived here full time.
