If you have a recommendation for someone who does good jeweling, I would like to hear from you. Additionally, if you can tell me the difference between good jeweling and average jeweling , I would appreciate it.
Good jeweling means consistent spacing, logical placement of rows. For instance on something squared off I would expect even spacing on both sides of the object. On a round bolt I would look for jeweling marks that meet well across the round body.
I can’t say the difference between good and average. I suspect most guys that perform jeweling do a good job because not many guys do it.
Skip Baldwin is the man when it comes to bolt jeweling, he's done several for me. Excellent work reasonably priced with quick turnaround, Skip's a pleasure to deal with.
[color:#333333]I sent two bolts to Skip Baldwin, Baldwin Bolt Jeweling, Baldwin Bolt Jeweling The work was excellent and with very fast turnaround. He offers three sizes of jeweling. He has good opinions on the best size for your application. Anyway, you cannot go wrong with Skip. He is an artist.
The photos don’t do justice to the quality of the jeweling on my bolts.
I recently sent a member some bullets via priority mail, small box. It took 10 days to get there after it looped back to my PO when it was almost at the destination. Getting a hold of anybody is like trying to get up with the wizard of OZ.
Faith and love of others knows no mileage nor bounds. That's simply the way it is. dogzapper
