I am contemplating reloading and donating ammunition for this organization.

I'm not sure if I'm going to forget to add powder or add a full charge of black powder. Do y'all have any suggestions?

Of course my donations will be anonymous. I'm just that kind of guy.

I'd rather donate bullets first.

A case full of bullseye would be more exciting than black powder.

Yep, either load it to blow the gun up or load it to stick the bullet in the barrel. For the first, a compressed load of red dot under the heaviest bullet you can find should be interesting. For the second, it takes powder, question is how much. 1-2 grains might be about right.

This.

Well, bullseye can be a little bulky, load them some .223 wiht 19gr of Shooters World clean shot behind a 77gr SMK.

That will produce over 350,000 PSI.

Just be sure to post the video when they touch on off.

About 30 grains of Titegroup will do the trick also.

I'm thinking a small grain ball powder because you can get more in the case. A triple load in 9mm brass would be a great donation too.

Fill a .223 case with a compressed load of H335. Ditto for 9MM or .40 S&W. One round of either will turn the chamber into shrapnel.

H335 was made for the 5.56.

As for H335 in a .40 S&W, you can't get enough in the case to ever make it dangerous:

Code
Cartridge : .40 S&W (SAAMI)
Bullet : .400, 180, Sierra JHP FN 8460
Useable Case Capaci: 10.240 grain H2O = 0.665 cm³
Cartridge O.A.L. L6: 1.135 inch = 28.83 mm
Barrel Length : 24.0 inch = 609.6 mm
Powder : Hodgdon H335

Predicted data by increasing and decreasing the given charge,
incremented in steps of 3.334% of nominal charge.
CAUTION: Figures exceed maximum and minimum recommended loads !

You'll never make it to the required 140% compression.

We loaded black powder in .45acp and got velocities in the 550fps range, never could get one to cycle and it was great fun cleaning up. But every one of them went bang so that might be handy info.

Bangflop! another skinning job due to .260 and proper shot placement.
