If i have to use any it will be loaded with varmint bullets.

I did not sign on to any treaties or any thing that said i had to use fmj.

Usually 55 grain and for the most part they will not overpenatrate.

RS,

Your choice should fit your situation.

Hammer has a good solution for densely populated area where over penetration is an issue.

Deland has another good solution when a barrier blind option may make more sense.

Bonded soft points, such as the 64gr Nosler Bonded Solid Base can cover a variety of scenario's as well.

Mine is an AK47. It is loaded with some sort of Russian Wolf brand ammo loaded with 122 grain FMJ. The AR is a truck rifle loaded with 62 grain HP Hornady hunting bullets bought in bulk from Midsouth Shooter Supply, 26.2 of Varget.

Here's the 55gr version.

Gel test starts at the 3 minute mark.

I don't care what any of the so called "professionals" say....you don't want to be hit with one of these......

Surplus 55 grain FMJs over some Varget. It's a .223,....3000 feet per second, 240,000 RPM, more or less. I don't think you need to get fancy with it at inside the house distances.
