I know nossink.... suggestions needed

I have a 32X 40 garage with 16' walls, slab heat. I put a loft in over the bathroom/boiler area for extra storage- well, that's what I told my wife. I had visions of a reloading man-cave up there... smile Garage is built into a slope, door to un-enclosed loft accesses the back lawn. (visions of a big greenhouse out there eventually). Access to loft from inside garage is a 10 foot step ladder- not as unhandy as it sounds as currently used.

She co-opted it for overwintering her house plants and yard flowers, and starts in the spring. Guess she didn't like them in one of the guest bedrooms in the house anymore.

Last winter showed a big problem - transpiration/watering and snow melt from the vehicles produces s huge humidity - condensation on/around the windows and doors in the loft is a problem. And potentially for tools and equipment.

Not a problem other than in winter.

Currently I'm thinking a big-ass dehumidifier will do the job?

Looking at Homelabs (Walmart carried) 4500 sq foot rated model. I'd hook it up for continuous drain.

Alternatives? Problems? before I order.

The only true cost of having a dog is its death.
