looking into perhaps getting em one of these off GB for a coming up birthday. Any one have first hand experience with them? I currently have 2 ruger 77/22's a LR and WMR, both shoot really well and are a pleasure to shoot and carry. Have been looking at this specific CZ model for a while.

I would look for a 452 or 453 before the 455, just pick your caliber .

I bought mine in 17hmr, then purchased a 22 WMR and 22lr barrel to go with it. 17hmr is a tack driver. Dime groups at 50 and quarter size groups at 100 yards with the bulk federal black pack ammo. My 22WMR barrel on same gun is also a tack driver, not as tight as the 17 but more than adequate. The point of impact does not change at 50 yards from 17hmr to 22WMR barrel. This is probably more luck than the norm. I like mine some much I bought a second in 22lr and it outshoots the other dozen plus 22lrs I own.

The only modifications I have made to mine is the trigger springs.

I already have a 17 rifle I dont shoot, a 17 is of no use to me. I strictly use the 22 wmr for squirrels and hogs on the hunting reserves.

Outstanding, congratulations! My comments were directed towards to rifle you asked about. Tried to give you my full experience with it.

Good luck.

I have a SS 455 in .22LR. It's not bad, 3/4" at 50 yards with most kinds of plinking ammo. It is the worst shooting CZ I own, the other six rifles shoot a bit better. Again, it's not bad, just not as good as the other, blued rifles. I'd probably buy another if I see one.

Shot my two stainless 455s yesterday for the first time. The 22mag shot 1/2-3/4 at 50 with each group getting smaller as I went. One group at 100 was 1 1/8. Only ammo tried was 30gr Hornady. The 22lr did very well with a few different loads. Lots of groups 3/8-5/8 for 5 shots. Various bulk shot around an inch for 10 shot groups. SK+ and wolf target shot just over 1/2 for ten. Shot one 5 shot group at 100 with the Wolf and it was .74. Have a 455 stainless 17HMR coming in this week to complete my set. Hope I get lucky on this one too.

I believe the 455 is your only option if you want stainless.

Update.
The 22 seems to average around .6 with the better loads maybe a hair under at 50. Have not tried any upper end ammo. Have not shot it at 100 again.

The 22mag with Hornady 30gr averaged between .4-.5 at 50 and 1.2 at 100.

The 17 shoots everything under 3/4 at 50 with A17 the best at .4 for 3x5 shot groups. All ammo will have 4 into .3-.4 and a flyer other than the A17. 6 x 5 at 100 with 5 different ammo averaged 1.38. Had a very wide shot in one group. If not for that shot the average would have been 1.1.

Sounds like they are all squirrel head shooting worthy! Now if I can just figure out how to get the Kimber Montana off of you, I will be in good shape.

Probably would be good if I spent more time with the centerfires. You know how it is with new toys. Lol
