As soon as the hay is up. laugh

A good soaker would be great. It's been a while since we had a good rain.

How about you good folks?

We’ve been getting all of yours and more, Wabi.

Still are.

Got enough as it is. Been raining for several days now.

Rained out the fireworks yesterday.

Strange it’s this wet in July.

Today’s Sunday paper said Louisiana will be a total flood zone in 30 years.
Evidently it won’t affect Mississippi or Texas so you Boys can relax.

You are welcome to all the rain and fog of ours that you want. I'm so sick of this schitt.

I've had 3 tenths since may 28th. Pretty sure most of my planting on June 1st is dead.

In may we were 10 inches over the baseline for the year. Its getting dry fast though. Areas around me have been hit. They got 3 inches at the state park just 3 or so miles away a few nights ago.

Just ain't living right i guess.

It's dry as a popcorn fart here. 3/4" cracks in the ground now. Strip pits are down over a foot. Need a nice soaked in a bad way.

Richard,it's been pretty good down here so far-crops look good, good yield first hay cutting. Still green, but as usual we'll need more this month!

We’ve had a pretty cool and wet spring early summer. It reminds me of the weather here when I was a child. We didn’t plan any big outdoor events or activities until after dad’s birthday on July 14. The last decade or two we’ve had much warmer and dryer spring/early summers than I can recall. I like the mixture of nice weather and warm temps mixed in with a few days of cooler wetter weather. It’s sunny and beautiful today in the low to mid 70’s. Right now it’s clear blue sky and sunshine with my thermostat saying it’s 64* outside. I was mowing and weed eating on and off today and appreciate the cooler weather for doing yard work. 😁

My grandfather used to say, the corn needs a rain at pollinating time, we are close to that.

Like LJBass said, the faucet was turned off on June 1st. Before that we were too wet. Now we are dry. Last week got us some pop up showers, but didn’t last long enough to do much more than settle the dust.

Knee high by the 4th of July is far exceeded here.

Quit belly-aching, lest you get real problems.

We're getting rain daily. Prettiest garden we've had in years and the corn and beans on my road are flourishing.
Milk is actually profitable (for now) and poultry is doing real well.

Hope you get the needed rain soon Wabi.

We’ve had decent rains along the I-70 & Hwy 50 corridor from KC to Columbia. These last couple weeks of hot weather sure did help the corn to take off. Farmer that neighbors my place- his corn was growing ears already. But, they usually are the first to plant.
