Did a full vinyl wrap on a company van. Lasted about 2-3years before it started fading and peeling. Cost 1500.00 and that was 20 years ago .

That's why I'm doing my own.
I like my own camo best. Got a bunch of camo fabric for clothing.
I plan to bond it to my car, then do a couple of clear coats until satisfied with the results.

The judge had a wrap put on his Chevy pu,on the lower half.
It has been at least 8 years.
It is a kind of camo/elk type.

Wraps shouldn't be left on for more than 3 years, max. 2 years is better. After 3 years or so, depending upon the specific vinyl, they should be considered as paint. I.e. to remove it, your gonna have to sand the body because of what won't scrape off.

Mine will be multipurpose. mainly for taking the place of an ATV, hiding it from game and nosey neighbors who keep asking where I am parking my car and when Im home?
My place was broke into recently.
I hope to catch them on something more than security cameras next time.
Sometimes it serves to drag deer out of the valley.

The judge keeps his in the garage when he is not driving it. The colors still look fresh. I heard he washes it and vacuums the inside as well.
