RIP Mr. Daniels, I hope I hear your fiddle playing when I get to the other side.

Has anyone seen his documentary yet? I had the honor to spend time with some of these interviewed. Most of them were a real blessing. I will post each part. These aren't the full video, but segments throughout . I haven't found the full one yet. Please let me know if you come across it by PM.
This one hits me hard. Been a fan since I heard music. Seen him in concert the first time about 35 years ago. I was around six years old. Early eighties he played a county fair near me every other year or so. He would do two shows. A late afternoon and a show at dusk. The fair was alcohol free so it was not the typical redneck party his shows could be. That was the first of I would guess around 30 or so times I seen him.
His music has a constant in my life along with the other southern rockers of his generation. Growing up was a hard road at times but his music always made things better even if for just the length of a record.
Charlie I hope your up there jamming like the old days with Tommy Toy Taz and all the Skynyrd Boys. Sure Wish I would of got one more show in.
Any American man under the age of 70 who has never sung this song with a beer in hand is automatically suspect, and not to be trusted.
RIP
Well, it's possible that getting stoned in the morning and drunk in the afternoon worked for awhile.........................until it didn't any longer.
And being a longhair type, I sorta related to a few other things Mr Daniels sang about.
The desert is a true treasure for him who seeks refuge from men and the evil of men. In it is contentment In it is death and all you seek (Quoted from "The Bleeding of the Stone" Ibrahim Al-Koni)
