Think Canada will be open this fall? Talking to some guys who make the annual trip, most are not counting on it.

Sounds like North dakota maybe blazed pretty heavy given that Canada may be closed. Having said that, I talked to an outfitter in Nodak who said he doesnt have many bookings yet.

Anyone have any musings? laugh

Not sure, but I think my bud’s annual trip to Saskatchewan is on hold or cancelled. I’m not going this time, regardless....2nd house remodel starting. Even if, I might forgo it anyway.....don’t want to deal with any knee jerk stuff that seems more likely now.

I'd hate to be a Canadian outfitter waiting on the government to open the border. The same government who just had a caliber gun ban that only on scrutiny, they backed off a 12 GA ban. I hope Canada doesn't turn into one of these places where you go and have to use the government-approved outfitters guns.

Having said that, 1 million ducks killed in Saskatchewan, I would guess mostly by American hunters. Wouldn't mind seeing those birds make it south a bit.

Definitely not looking good. They’ve extended it to Sept 21 already. Even if they were to open it, I would think they may do mandatory quarantine or something crazy. It sucks for the people that depend on the US hunters to get through the season.

Our Pelee Island Ontario pheasant hunt was cancelled. Canada was not allowing anyone to cross the border in Detroit except for truck and business traffic. Then I heard they were going to open up for personal travel with a 14 day sheltering at home before you could be out and about. A lot of folks in south east Michigan have cottages in Canada.

Hey 300Savage... been trying to contact you, but as a new member I can't yet private message. I have a Remington Model 31-TC with the 'lifter' problem you mentioned in a post a couple of years back, and you said someone had suggested a 'fix' for it. Could you explain to me what that fix is? Thanks Much!
