I bought some Leupold bases 50237 and they don’t fit worth a darn. I can see light under the rear base, it doesn’t fit the contour of the receiver very well. Anyone used these before? Did they work even though the fit isn’t perfect? Any recommendations on bases that fit correctly?

Talley Lightweights are available for both the original BLR and the current model. I have them on my 81 and they work well!

Bases for the BLR are action specific...I found that out the hard way

I like the EGW for the BLR, by far. I couldn't get the scope far forward enough with any of the other bases I used.

I just put the Weaver 2 piece base on my BLR 308 last night. Both are numbered 25. They seem to fit well but I haven't shot it yet. I mounted a Leupold VX1 2-7 and the spacing was fine. The best part is they were only $7.98 for the pair.
