Father in law was using it for a number of years. He gave it back to us since he upgraded.

Driving it one day, pedal to the floor.

Blew a right front brake line that goes across crossmember just below the radiator.

Problem is is that I cant find a brake line. It's a long bastard.

It's a 96 z71 extended cab stepside. Everything I see is for a 78" bed. Would the length be the same as a regular cab 78" bed?

I'd like to buy all the lines, it's a 24 yo truck, if 1 blew.....

Get a coil of nickel copper (?) brake line.

It's pliable so you can hand bend to fit
And it is supposed to be more resistant to the spray on road salt than the stock preformed stuff.

On coil 25' ft probably enough for the whole vehicle. Less than $60
You will need a flareing tool and nipples/fittings too.

You don't wasn't to mess with the factory formed stuff. Most go on before engine transmission etc go in....

Th e n it's just a matter of the right fittings..
There are also least four threads I think, but you shouldn't have to worry about the metric ones.

Don't forget
First the properly oriented fitting
THEN
The flare
