Does anybody have any load data for a .22-243 Win? Twist is 1:12 so I'm looking at 55-62 grn bullets. Thanks!

When I had a 22-243 Middlestead I started with 220 Swift load data and worked up. The 22-243 Middlestead had about 10% more case capacity than the Swift. I sold the barrel, the dies, and all of the loaded ammo and components that I had for it. Mine was a barrel burner, so if you're looking at one to buy, take a good look at the throat.

Thanks, not alot of specific info on this cartridge. I am building a 22-243 win I found some dies as well. From what I've read all you have to do is resize a .243 wind. But i'm not sure on OAL and case length..

The 22-243 Middlestead that I had had the shoulder set back, a sharper shoulder angle, and a longer neck. I didn't shoot it much, as I was able to sell the barrel, dies, ammo, and components for what I had in the rifle and since I had bought it for the donor action I was happy that the buyer ;reached out to me. I never heard how it worked out for him.

Since I am building just the .22-243 Win and not the Middlestead version do you still think I can use this data?

I had a Cheetah and I used std. 243 brass but had to turn the necks..

Finding alot of data for the middlestead but not alot for the 22-243 Win...
