I recently picked one of these kevlar/carbon wonders up and am fairly impressed with what I see. It is quite similar to the stock Melvin Forbes builds.
When I looked at Coopers website, I discovered that they also offer walnut versions. Since they had a sale going , they appeared to be a bargain.
A month ago, I did not know about these offerings, but I have been impressed with every Cooper rifle I've ever handled.
Is this a big secret? Any of you folks have any experience with the 700 replacement stocks, synthetic or walnut, you might care to share?
