I prefer a shot of bourbon in my coffee.

Did work for a place where the owners wife made homemade kahlua. Used everclear, instant coffee, not sure of the rest. But the content was high enough I mixed it 1 to 1 with half and half and would feel it. But that was 20 years ago when I could drink a carton of half and half and burn it off the next day lol.

I had my share of Christmas homemade Kahlua gifts.

They didn't usually make it till the next Christmas.

I preferred Irish whiskey in my coffee, but then again, whatever was handy worked too.

I can no longer burn off a third pint of ice cream even. Local grocery store calendar had a coupon for 2 free pints of Humboldt Creamery Organic ice cream. Even trying to make it stretch a bit my weight went up a pound or so in the two days it's been in the house. Salad for dinner tonight after carnitas tacos in town for lunch.

Getting old sucks, but I never did like the alternative.
