I have a Ruger 77 RL tanger in .243 Win that I'm thinking of having rebored and chambered to 7-08. Does anyone have any recommendations for a smith that they would consider for the job. If so, could you please post or PM me with contact info? Also, not looking to pin anyone down, but what should a job like that cost ballpark? Thanks for any and all help. Tim

Are you sure this is even possible? I think 1mm difference is enough to drill and re-rifle. I would start with one of the commercial re-borers - JES comes to mind.

May have to rebarrel.
