It used to come in the glasses decorated with different colored dots or different varieties of flowers (people actually collect them now). One of my grandmother’s dishes was sour cream diluted with a little white vinegar, sliced cucumbers and thinly sliced Vidalia onion garnished with ground black pepper and salt then chilled in the refrigerator for about an hour before serving.
