I have six 5 gallon buckets of change in my garage. Where you live again bro? If you gots a garage I know you cain't claim in a van by the river. I know for a fact that slumlord is not telling the truth about the change. He was quoted once in a redneck looking joint as saying " I ain't even got a garage, you can call home and ask my wife!" BS...I know for a fact Slum has a 1972 GE box freezer and a two twin mattresses with a blue tarp stretched across both that he calls a garage. 😬😎 So, that's where he keeps his powered chair he drives down to the Wal-Mart he lies about not having been in for 30 years. I knew it. Probably down there hoarding all the Savage Axis rifles he can get with alla them coins. That and the Federal .270 ammo for $4.95 a box.

I don'y carry change. Any change I get goes in a jar and only gets cashed in every few years.
Maybe I should help out the cause and take my jar down to the Credit Union. IF you can, Banks and Credit Union lobbies, with the coin machines are closed due to COVID - or you have to make an appointment. Can't just walk in and deposit that jar of coins.

It does seem odd. Are coins being taken out of circulation? Does the US mint regularly produce coins and introduce them into circulation without removing old coins?
Personally, I rarely use cash anymore and don't find a lack of coins to be an issue, it just wonder where they are really going. US Mints closed due to COVID. Coining $$ is Non-essential.

I bet at least half of the male adults leaving the house in the USA dont have any change in their pockets. Then when they get home what change they collected goes into a jar or other container.
So if the mint isnt making any coins, the amount of coins in circulation decreases every day.
My biggest fear is when I die my wife will sell my guns for what I told her they cost.
