Did anyone hear today as I did that some guy in Washington figured this was coming so he trademarked about 30-40 likely names for the team. Now these names are for sale at a premium. Now that is a business man.

Used to watch the Superbowl some, but totally lost interest in anything that comes on the box anymore... sports and about everything else.
Hero worshipping TV [bleep]... is a pretty stupid hobby as far as we're concerned in this house.

To be absolutely sure of not offending anyone, every NFL team should have the same name, the same logo, and all wear the same color uniforms.
I suggest they all be called "Team" as in the Washington Team, the Seattle Team, the Buffalo Team... And all their uniforms will be solid black. Yes, that will make it more difficult for QBs to pick their receivers from defenders, but hey, that's why they get those millions of dollars. Tongue in cheek I presume? Only a bit, methinks.

I must be in the minority.
I love, and miss sports (NFL, MLB, and NHL - I do not watch NBA).
Not because I give a chit about the players or their politics or their sponsors, but because it is FUN. And entertaining. And a nice diversion on any given night when I want to have a beer and watch some baseball. I am a Rockies fan (MLB), Sharks fan (NHL), and have no NFL affiliation, as long as I can make money, haha!
I am an avid (casual, lower stakes) DFS player and sports book better.
I have numerous low-stakes parlays on the NASCAR race tomorrow night paired with the Memorial Cup (PGA) this week, plus a few more serious bets on the Cup.
The DIPCHIT ADD, after a morning of drinking:

Why are you all so offended and concerned with anything the NFL does?
It matters not one whit to me.
I forever cut any small ties with that organization, as well as the NBA, NASCAR and some others.
They keep pulling these stunts with one goal in mind. To offend you and make you take to social media to voice that concern.
You do that, and they win. Period. Actually, that's the wrong way to think about it IMO. I don't care if it's the NFL or Jigg's cafe in small town USA. The snowflakes are forcing schidt down our throats and pretending everything is offensive and we're just letting them do it. I read an article that stated that 90% of Native Americans polled didn't care one bit about the Redskins name. In fact, many of them are fans of that team BECAUSE of the name. But white liberal snowflakes think they need to speak for everyone else and are demanding this BS all over the country. It's not just the NFL. It's everything those purple haired, screaming psycho's deem offensive in the name of some other race.
