I'm looking at chest holsters for my G20 bear spray. I came across a kydex holster made by GS Holsters. GS HolstersGunfighter makes this one - but is twice the price of the GS Holster and looks remarkably similar............ Kenai What are you guys using? Others to consider?

That looks like what I have in mind. A holster will need to ride on my chest and not be cumbersome/bulky with a pack on and be readily accessible.

I have the Kanai and am well pleased with its security of the pistol and its stability on my chest.

I bought the Aliengear. You can purchase extra shells for different models for around $12.

I use the Diamond D Guides Choice. I'm very satisfied with it.

I have a Simply Rugged Chesty for my Mountain Gun and love it. I have also looked at the Alien Gear rig and like the idea of moving away from leather.
I recently got a HPG rig and it is becoming my favorite since I can carry all of my kit in one accessible place and empty my pockets and belt. Great when wearing waders too.

7X leather has a good design but is a tiny bit on the expensive side. Wes is a craftsman doing one at a time and I believe he is quite the craftsman. I am going to pull the trigger on a rig. It will include one holster for a SRH 9.5" and an open end for a Desert Eagle 50 AE. I can go with the 6 or 10 inch barrel that way. Look at his site to see several examples. No models just real people sending in photographs. Be Well, Rustyzipper.

I like the HPG Kit Bag (runners is thinnest) with a Dale Frickie Zac trigger guard.

I've got the Hill People Gear Recon kit bag and love it.

I've seen the HPG bags before and thought they may be too bulky - but a feature I just thought of - no one will see your pistol. This works well for national parks where you can carry. I think the HPG Kit Bag looks ideal and should fit any of my 3 Glocks (20, 17, 48). I doubt it will hold any of my current revolvers but that's the way t goes. I have shoulder and bandolero holsters for them. I'll give them a ring tomorrow.
Thanks for the ideas!

Another vote for the Hill People Gear Recon kit bag with the Zac trigger guard. I just got one and used it for the first time at a state park yesterday with the family. Biking, boating, hiking-carried all I needed including a Glock 22. Very comfortable and no funny looks. It's easier to draw from than I thought too.

Diamond D makes one in nylon now under the name Diamond outdoors. I have one and it’s pretty decent. I also am waiting on a GS holster to come in. Seems like a no brainer at $60 les than a Kenai as long as the quality is comparable.

I have a Diamond D chest holster on order. I thought hard about going with Kydex, but the quality of their leather is supposed to be top notch. Hopefully, I won't do any unplanned swimming.

I'll add another vote for the HPG. I use the Heavy Recon for hunting and the runner's the rest of the time. I like not having the pistol out in the open.
I've used the Recon with a 4" N frame. Never tried it in the runner's. I don't find it ideal for multiple days with a revolver, as the cylinder starts digging into my sternum, but I don't really carry a revolver much these days.
