I swore off Ford a few years ago but that Bronco looks sweet.

I reserved one Monday night. A 4 door. I haven't decided what trim package I want and don't have to make that decision until I place the order this fall.

OSU Sig: We recently bought a new Ford whoop'de doo SUV with the "Eco-Boost" engine and so far so good - in fact it gets pretty good mileage for a large vehicle (we only use it on special occasions).
Anyway its quiet and smooth with what appears to be an 8 speed transmission.
I like the looks of the "new" Bronco" - especially the two door.
Close friend and Hunting partner of mine took delivery of a four door Jeep Rubicon with their new diesel engine and a ten speed transmission and I was REALLY impressed with that rig and when he drove it home to Phoenix, Arizona (from Kellog, Idaho where he bought it!) he got 31 and 32 M.P.G.!
I have been buying and driving cars and trucks (including Fords, Jeeps and Broncos) for 57 (fifty seven!) years now and the differences and improvements in vehicle performances and comforts has been astounding!
Come on Ford get'er going again to the top of the heap.
I hope you will as happy with your EB Bronco as we are with our new Ford giant SUV.

Nebraska: Thanks for the link - lots of good looking vehicles to opt from.
Good luck to you if you get one.

VarmintGuy,
Thanks. I have driven Ford products for a long time and currently drive a 2019 F250 Super Duty with a 6.7L Powerstroke diesel. I have owned 3 Broncos over the years and always enjoyed driving them.
This Bronco will be my daily driver and will certainly have. the 2.7L EB engine. I previously drove a 2016 F150 with the 3.5L EB engine and loved it. It was a beast.
I'm buying the 4 door because I can lower or remove the rear seats providing me with room for gear and coolers for my hunting trips. I like the looks of the 2 door better and if I can determine there will be enough room for my stuff, that might be a consideration.
Orders will be placed this fall with deliveries beginning in late Spring 2021.

The exterior looks like an International Scout from the 1970’s. Am a huge Ford fan but not with this Bronco. My plans are to buy a 2 door Wrangler next spring. The Bronco made me even happier with my choice.

I love them as well. Great looking, and supposedly well designed for off road. I’m not so sure the quality is there though, only time will tell. If it is, I think they’ll sell a ton of them. If I had the money, and they turn out to be good Off road vehicles that last I’d buy one in heartbeat. But that’s all up in the air right now. They need to prove themselves first. .

That 2.7 is problematic.

No way I’d buy another echo boost. Blew two turbos in a 3.5 as well at the 180k mark

Looks cool though. Nice to see a domestic compete with the 4Runner though. For that money...I’d buy a Toyota but hey it’s a start

It does remind me of the old Intrnl. Scouts. I had a buddy that had one and we went everywhere in that thing. Personally I love the looks of them.

The early Ford Broncos also had similarities to the old Intl Scouts and Rovers as well like Barkoff mentioned.

If Ford needed to produce that type of vehicle, looks like they worked a good look, some nice features and the EB into a saleable package. But - the price - and how tough/versatile a vehicle do get?

Our old 71 and 72 Chev Blazers - uncut, strong and well-powered are looking better and better - and appreciating.
