Well, my Shiloh build is done after a 2 year and 3 month wait.
They called and said I can purchase their case for $70 or bring my own.

Can anyone comment as the worth of the case? Or should I just bring my own?

A photo will be nice if you have one!

Are you picking it up or having it shipped to you?

Take your own case, the ones they ship in aren't worth $70 unless they changed brands since 2016. Save the$70 for steak and libation afterwards to celebrate this moment in time. Tell us about your rifle and it's options. MB

Pace, picking it up. We live 5 hrs from Big Timber. Heading to MN for dad's 90th birthday.
The only thing I hate about telling folks what I ordered is that you always get the "You shoulda order *this or that*

Yes! Take your own. My rifle arrived with 6 inches of muzzle projecting through both case and box. Luckily, no damage to the rifle. Somewhere in shipping that package endured a serious toss and sudden stop.

We need a pic or two.

1 minutes point is exactly mine. I'VE HEARD way too many stories like his. Fugging UPS turds make war on packaged shipped rifles. And in your case no point not picking it up personally. One would think by now that they would have an upgraded case that won't happen to. Next as to what you ordered sounds damn near perfect to me. I have 2 just about like it 1 with a 34" barrel and pewter tip and the other with a 30" barrel and pewter tip. The 34 I bought off the gun library shelf in Big Timber a little self treating on Halloween 2015. The 30" was received at the Quigley in 2016 when they pulled my name out of the bucket and called my name it was amazing cause I can't hear sh*t even with my hearing aides, but I heard that. Enjoy the hell out of it, that's what I do. MB

Sounds great! If I ever get to stop by the factory, it's going to be and expensive event.

Nice choice on the Roughrider.

I am going to pick up my first Shiloh...a new to me Creedmoor Silhouette...on Saturday.

So I share your excitement!

Can you believe I have been loading and casting since 1974, but have never used black powder or PP bullets...and now I want to!

It is a fine sickness...

You're in for a real treat Tarbe, nothing as satisfying as casting, rolling on the paper patches, then going out and busting game,, and even steel gongs/targets, with black powder and a Sharps rifle, got my first one 15 years ago, and am now 8 Sharps rifles deep ; ]
