I have a few Revics, with the RT1 and RX1 reticles. Great optics I'll post a couple links below using them, I'm working on some reviews here soon...

I'll also post the official statement made by Gunwerks that they just released, sounds like more than a few here are uninformed.

Actually no its not, take 30% for profit and growth, that leaves you 7 grand to work with , @ $125.00 per hour shop rate and you have 56 hours of work time in building a high quality rifle and sighting system that is always ready to achieve a high level of accuracy in any temperatures. Not an easy task.

If you don't need one that's fine, I don't know anyone that needs a Ferrari but they sell as many of them as they can make.

I doubt any of us will get the whole story, and unless you have a vested interest then its really no one else's business but the buyers !

I wish them the best of luck, and still F~ck the banks !

If it takes them 56 hours to put a rifle together then that explains their money issues.

Actually D'Arcy Echols, Kenny Jarrett and others spend a lot of time developing a rifle, loads, etc, stuff most Loony types would do themselves.

And, those guys charge a real premium, an amount a self respecting Loony would never pay. But, there are those who want the package without doing any of the development or work. Unfortunately, many of those who don't want to do the development, don't want to put in the time at the range. Thus, they end up with more rifle than they can actually use effectively...

I guess there'll always be a market, although probably somewhat limited, for those services.

Maybe some smoke and mirrors included, but "buyer beware" is still a valid warning...

Spending a bunch doesn't make one a competent shooter, may actually be a hindrance, as there's no sub for experience.

Assuming because you have a very expensive rig put together by some guru, you are a LR shooter...

NOT!

So if you don't follow the terms of the loan what happens? I never thought much of Wells-Fargo. Be Well, Rustyzipper.

Dunno about their rifles, but somebody at Gunwerks could edit the hell out of a YouTube video.

Used to watch them with sound off.

I disagree. Well, I agree you can get an equally functional rifle for a lot less money, but if buyers are willing to pay that much for the GW product, how is that GW's fault? They found a demand and filled it. That is not scamming. It's just good business.

Did some shooting with a couple of Gunwerk's, customers last year, Their rifles and scopes were top notch, and they had a ton of their custom ammo,They had damn sure spent some money, but the guy's had not put in the time to learn their rifles and ammo, I think they thought they could buy what ever skill they needed, to shoot long range. they damn sure drank the Gunwerk's kool aid. Not a good model.

A for profit turning into a no profit is a formula for ruin.

And fleecing the “sheep“ seems to be the current NRA business model, benefiting only top bureaucrats.

Until the board runs mgt, not the other way around, don’t pass the hat my way.

Board seems more window dressing, PR activists with no mgt authority.

DF,

I completely agree with you. The top brass at NRA needs to be fired and escorted to their vehicles. Mark O'Keefe would be a better leader than the bunch we have now. Ollie tried to move in on LaPierre and got ousted quickly. Chris Cox is gone also. The NRA needs leaders like Harlon Carter and Neal Knox. They lead the 1970s revolution and subsequently made the NRA better for a long time.

We don't need top leaders at the NRA wearing their $5000 dollar suits and taking African trophy hunts with their Blaser rifles.

I can't see that the NRA has ever done anything but fearmonger to raise money, then support gun control legislation when it suited their purposes. Maybe it was different when the organization was first created.

I will keep on saying this: research it, and you will find that every unconstitutional gun law passed at the federal level has been supported by the NRA. Doesn't sound like a gun rights lobbying group to me.

In the Gunwriter forum, I believe. Burns started at least three separate threads about Wells Fargo vs. Gunwerks.

Did he leave a post here earlier?

Or am I dreaming?

Must have deleted it.

Anyone who does business with the criminal conspiracy known as Wells Fargo Bank almost deserves what they get. I’m sure Gunwerks was able to get enough credit to pay WFB off. Davidson struck me as credible. I deal with banks all the time and it doesn’t surprise me that they don’t understand business.
On another note, $10+K for a custom rifle that includes a decent scope is NOT a rip-off by a Longshot.

I have $6.75K in my Anschütz 1727F with scope. And it’s a rimfire.

Their cost is not $125 an hour for their shop rate. You're accounting for profit twice.
