I am looking at a black bear hunt in New Brunswick. It's driveable from where I live on the east coast and most seem to be fairly priced hunts. Can anyone recommend an outfitter or have any experiences?

I have been using Ray Dillon at Malarkey Guide Service in NB for many years. Doubt you will be able to go due to the border being closed. I'd recommend spring hunt over fall. Fall is affected by natural food sources. The are other good guide services. Check them out. Some appear more interested in how many they can book than results.

I can strongly recommend North View Hunting and Fishing outfitters near Plaster Rock. Good accommodations, great food, great hunting. I have got at least one bear there every year on spring bear hunts. Could not go this year due to closed border.
