Remington announced them last year. They came out this year for the 100th anniversary of the 300 Savage.

Remington even screwed that up, then, eh? Since the 300 Savage wasn't introduced in 1920.

Those are pretty, I'll admit. But you can get a nice 722 in 300 Savage for half the money

But not in stainless.

The 700 Classics in 300 Savage didn't sell well, neither did those in 8x57. Many people bought them from places like CDNN when they were being closed out for donors. I bought a couple of new take-off barrels in both 300 Savage and 8x57 around that time. I used one of the 300 Savage barrels to make half of a matched pair of Remington 7s in 250-3000 and 300 Savage.

I missed the part about me stating the 100th anniversary of it's introduction.

I just can't get over the HUGE recoil pad Remington is using. Thing looks all out of proportion.

I could never get past that recoil pad, even if somebody gave me the gun.
